Interesting review, mostly accurate. It is curious that he didn't find the focus magnification features, which are available from both the menu and via discrete controls.
I'm quite happy settling on this camera system as my main photographic tool. It's combination of size, weight, features, image quality and the ability to use M-bayonet lenses makes it very versatile, and friendly to my uses. And, when you don't want to carry camera and lenses, just snap in a P10 camera unit to get a 28-300mm image stabilized point and shoot. ;-) On Sun, Sep 4, 2011 at 10:30 PM, Larry Colen <[email protected]> wrote: > Interesting, is Ricoh still off topic? > > Here is a review of the Ricoh with the Leica module. > http://www.thephoblographer.com/2011/09/05/review-ricoh-gxr-with-a12-leica-m-mount-module/ > > As an aside, it is by the fellow I had the falling out with over writing for > the phoblographer. > > -- > Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est > > > > > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. > -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
