Thanks, Christine.  A local photographer has been contracted by the authorities 
to photograph the area so they can create a visual archive of the demolition 
and rebuild process.  They've been posting collections on Facebook and one they 
added last night was quite moving for me as it included the view from the 
building where I used to work, along with several other locations where I used 
to walk during lunchtimes.

I also finally found a more up-to-date photo of the building I was walking past 
on that particular lunchtime.  It looks pretty good from the outside but it is 
on the list of heritage buildings to be demolished.

I just looked up my old work building and it's not on the demolition list.  At 
the rate they're going it'll be the only one left on its street.
