To my surprise, when I got there I was told I'd be wearing a radio as well. The damned cord to the earpiece kept tangling up in my camera strap. Completely unworkable. Finally, I overcame the "geekiness factor", reached into my camera bag and pulled out The Clip. Screwed the plates down over my belt and snapped the camera into the clip. For the rest of the afternoon (from 1pm until 8:30) I had that camera right there on my hip. Whenever I saw a photo opportunity, I just pulled the camera off, took my shot, and snapped it back. Three different people stopped me to ask what the hell it was, and how could they get one. Final verdict: Absolutely WONDERFUL for this kind of event. Rock-solid, easy to use, and incredibly handy. Also geeky as hell, which is either a positive or a negative depending on your perspective.
