Darren -
You might want to check to see if the 55mm is a 6x7 55mm f4 or 67 55mm
f4. I originally bought the first (the 6x7 version) not knowing that
there were two versions of this focal length. Maybe I had a bad sample,
but I found the 6x7 lens to be disappointing. I sold mine and replaced
it with the newer 67 f4, which is a gem - a really superb lens. My 67 f4
has the writing on the front edge of the focusing ring. The 6x7 has it
on the front of the lens barrel. Of course, one says 67 and one says 6x7.

I'm not terribly familiar with them. Where are the battery
compartments (to check for corrosion)?
What else can go wrong with a camera like this that has set unused for
a long time?
I need this like a hole in the head, but it is in truly MINT condition
(passed stickers still on everything in original cases).
It is an original model 67 with TTL pentaprism finder.
