I gave Godaddy the boot a while back. Good riddance. More due to the service than any security concerns - they're a very big target and they take security as seriously as anyone. I've had to clean up a number of hacked sites on several different hosting platforms. If you're using a content management system (eg Wordpress, Joomla etc) you MUST keep it up to date. Otherwise it's just a matter of when.
