Christine, Get a K-5 and be happy! Good advice from Ralf. I like my K-5 much better than the K-7. I've considered buying a 2nd K-5 for a back-up. Don't get bogged down the the Pentax Forum. They are like a fellow I worked with, a computer gearhead. He was always lusting after a better and faster desktop computer. And despite he and his wife both being computer literate, he could never settle on buying a machine for home. I think his kids were in high school before they got a computer.
