I just snapped an M 100 f2.8 on 55mm of manual extension tubes on a Pz-1p. 
Pointing it at the writing in the center of a 75 watt light bulb, trap 
focus worked at f5.6 and larger.  No trap focus at f8 or smaller.  These 
are totally manual tubes with no aperture lever or electronic contacts, so 
the lens physically stopped down or the readings.  I'd guess that the FA 
100 f3.5 would respond similarly.
