Buying the K-5 didn't improve the quality of my pictures because,
frankly, it's been a while since the limiting factor was the equipment
not the photographer.  But it did make it possible to take a bunch
that I just couldn't with the K20, because of insufficient light.
Also it's smaller and lighter, which is nice.

It's a really nice camera.   -T
