I'm with you... double curtain rod ordered yesterday.  I plan to have
one layer of sheer white panels to provide diffusion, and another more
solid, to better block light when needed...

Oh, I plan to!  I think there's a bit of a learning curve, though....
the light in there changes throughout the day, and, I suspect, with
the seasons...
