Thanks Bob,
I left the K-5 on manual exposure for the whole shooting. That was
intentional, so that the meter won't be fooled by the black background in
most shots (if/when the spot meter is not on the subject while following
action), and I checked exposure often. Unfortunately, during those shots
thru the spolight I left the exposure set as per closer reading. At the end,
I got some underexposure, which I had to compensate on camera jpegs. Not so
worried and not yet tried a RAW conversion.
Yes, the girl was roped for safety.

Dario,
I especially liked the girls flying thru the spotlights(?) with their
shadows on the buildings behind them. That did a lot to convey
motion. The girl in the window on page 3 is also a favorite,
especially with an echo of her poste on the scrim in the window below.
Was she roped in on that window sill?
Regards, Bob S.

It didn't show up, hence I'm trying again.
A selection of pictures shot by me at Ammutinamenti 2011 (contemporary
dance
festival in Ravenna, Italy):
http://www.festivalammutinamenti.org/compagnie-retouramont-foto-di-dario-bonazza
Most pics taken @ ISO 6400 with K-5 + DA* 50-135mm lens.
More galleries to come, with ISO settings mostly between 5000 & 12800.
These were three weekends shooting hard (4000+ photos), and hard to select
&
tune here pics and there.
Enjoy, if you feel like that!
Dario
