Just back from 10 days R & R in Ko Samui, Thailand. Took the K5 on a Camdapter wrist strap, the 18-135 zoom , a couple of filters (POL and ND 4X), FGZ 360 flash, in a Lowepro Passport Sling bag. Turned out to be a great travel kit. Took lots of holiday snaps; there were a couple I was particularly pleased with, and one of these is quite relevant given recent discussions on low-light abilities and the like. It's here: http://www.pbase.com/petergly/image/138318869 EXIF: 1/90s f/5.6 at 53.0mm @ iso12800. I'm astounded by what the camera captured. This was basically an unlit beach except for some reflected light from the restaurant I was standing in. All I've done is a little contrast adjustment and minor sharpening on the K5 jpeg. No noise reduction. Comments most welcome.
