Thank you all very much for your comments.

Apparently, each image has been a favorite of at least one person.
Similarly, each one has been a weak image for at least one viewer.
Most, however liked the image of our pointer dog, Pebble (Cakil, in Turkish).

I am really pleased to see the variety in viewers' perception.
This does show clearly once again that trying to anticipate the
reactions of the viewers to a photo is difficult, to say the least.
The photographer should perhaps devote his/her energy to
shooting/creating images rather than tailoring them for the likes of
viewers.

You have been most helpful and encouraging; thanks again :)
