Don, not one of your better shots IMHO. The sunset is nice and all of that, but
the main subject of the photo is the hawk(?) or eagle(?) or whatever on the
sculpture.
But I can't see the sculpture because of the lighting and because the
trees in the background merge with the main figure.
I am not sure about the lighting issue, but at least you need to lower
the camera 12-18 inches so that the point-of-view separates the statue
from the background trees.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but this is the sort of shot that frustrates
me and therefore irks me a bit - there is enough there that I think I
would like to take a closer look,
but when I take a closer look the subject is obscured.

Well Stan, my wife said pretty much the same thing when she looked at
it. Obviously I saw something there which I wasn't able to convey to
viewers.

There's some really nice light there. I agree with Stan that the
composition would have been improved with a lower viewpoint to get the
hawk away from the background trees.

Yes the light was what kept me at it that. It is close by so I may give
the composition another shot. DG
