I took these back in the summer. There's a Hindu Temple a couple of blocks from my house and one Saturday they paraded through the neighbourhood. I asked them if it was a feast or festival or holy day, but I was told that it's just something they do a couple of times a year. I guess it's something of a local nature rather than a world-wide holy day.
i'd call it the saturation festival
