this is just a marketing demo. Rubbing a flimsy bit of paper and some shredded leaves against a lens is not really much of a test of scratchproofness. Even if it's on fire and therefore quite hot it's still no big deal - glass is made at much higher temperatures than that. I'd be more impressed if they fired a blunderbuss full of grit at it and it didn't scratch.
