The problem is that I seem to like screwing around with computers too much, to 
the point that it gets in the way of my getting any work done with them.  Left 
to my own devices I'd probably spend 20 hours setting up a VM so that I could 
save myself a little bit of bother transfering files back and forth.

I'd probably be better off just using VNC or something like that to log onto 
the XP box from the mac, but probably best off, just doing the work on the PC.  
At some point I'll have to bump up the memory in it, and see how the 
performance compares with my iMac with the same clock speed, but which is maxed 
out at 3GB.
