So, I cropped the hell out of it, sharpened the hell out of it, added some
"film grain" to it, converted it to monochrome and made it into a silhouette.

I've toyed with tinting the background with somewhat interesting results, but
to my eye, they detract from what I've done already. So, I figured I'd ask if
anyone had any suggestions as to how I might improve it as an image.
it brings an instant grin, and the layout within the frame of the web and blips
is pleasing; to my taste, there is too much sharpening; dropping that a bit
might make the grain look more natural too, though the grain does help; i like
the natural gradient in the background -- perhaps if the grain disappeared in
the lower right? if you were to add color, i'd try red in upper left to
orange-white in lower right
