Anybody have experience which will give a cleaner/sharper image? I read something about the astrotracer not working perfectly with rectilinear wide angles because the stars at the edges leave traces. I can see advantage to geometry correction with either optics or software, and I'm wondering if one tends to work better than the other, or does it depend on the glass, the resolution of the sensor and the state of the art of the software?
