Not very surprising that they decided to merge the EOS-1D and EOS-1Ds lines into a single camera. And it's completely unsurprising that the 1.3 crop factor is now gone. It *is* a little surprising, given the rumors of Nikon and Sony going to 30MP or more, is that it's 18 megapixels.
