I do like it, but to my eye, it would work better with a square crop and it would work better if one could see the bottom of the arc of that hollow tube. That being said, since this is for a calendar, I understand that you may be tied to the landscape format. Still, if I could see the bottom of that arc... ;-) Despite all that, I think it's a really haunting and thought-provoking image.
