I purchased/downloaded one my books to try it out. Works fine on my iPhone 3G. Holding the phone in horizontal orientation you see 2 itty-bitty teeny tiny pages. Which can be expanded as desired. Page flipping etc. all work fine. Ironically, the same book did not work on the iPad (1st gen., if that makes and difference). Page formatting was off, some photos missing or chopped off. I am in discussion with Blurb and looking forward to their next upgrade or two.
To confirm your suspicion, per the Blurb site, the ePub format used for these books is intended only for the iOS family.
