Comments and critiques and free cyclocross tires gladly accepted and
appreciated.
i really like the vertical at the metal silo — lots of intriguing
detail, good exposure and an interesting composition
the barn shot is pleasant but the light is harsher and overall it
draws me in less
Thanks, Steve.
I see what you mean about the difference in the lighting. The barn shot
was taken probably 45 minutes or more prior to the shot of the grain
silo, so the sun was still pretty high up in the sky, and I probably had
a teeny bit too much aperture on that one -- f/8 when f/11 probably
would have been better.
I also see what you're talking about on that vertical orientation. I
guess the reason I was partial to the horizontal one was because it
didn't cut off the shadow of the rear tire. But, now that you mention
it, I see where you're coming from, and I guess I could go either way.
Thanks for the input!
