Isolate, simplify & define are my photographic words to live by.
I have experimented a bit with different crops. But I was asked for a
2x3 for the final calendar.
IMO the best crop is a portrait oriented 4x5.
Thanks for reminding me. I'll change the crop for future prints.

BTW just got thumbs up for showing a couple of other pictures by her.
Less artsy, but ok as photographs. So stay tuned.

Very nice.
Had you considered a portrait orientation?
To me it would have more impact with less of the dark on either side -
although you might have needed the landscape orientation for the
calendar.
