I think that's right. If the gallery was 'official', I would have expected an email notification to have been sent to all subscribers, like the one back in September when they advised the 24 October launch date. I suspect they've not quite achieved that date and are still working out a few 'wrinkles'. Having said that, I think the new Gallery is a vast improvement on the old one. Once you get used to the interface, it's a quick and pleasant experience to browse some of the collections.
