If your source, Dave, doesn't even know what country is having flooding issues, can we trust anything else in his message? From what I have heard, it would not be surprising if large elements of the electronics world, to include digital cameras, were not affected by the extreme monsoons in Thailand and elsewhere in SE Asia and region. But the doom and gloom your source is spreading, without any link to company announcements, seems like fear-mongering to me.
