G'day all Please see the following message from Igor regarding the effect of the snow storm in Connecticut on the Komkon server and PUG.
I wasn't planning on closing PUG submissions until Thursday or Friday so it sounds as if the server will be back in time. If not, extending the deadline is no problem. Igor's message start +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dear PDMLers, I am sure somebody will be inquiring soon about why PUG is not accessible. You may not know this yet, - but the state of Connecticut is affected by the snow storm. One of the consequences is the power outage that affects a lot of areas: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/weather/stories/132819343.html Komkon server (and hosting it Frontex) is affected by this power outage. There is no ETA at this time, but I expect it to be up very soon after the power is restored (assuming there is no damage to the network equipment and the server), - or on Monday, if that happens late at night. I understand that this will affect people submitting their photos for the November PUG. I am sure Brian will accommodate that delay. Best regards, Igor PS.
