If you come to peace with Nikonscan 4 let me know the secret. My
Coolscan 8000 got back from a trip to Nikon repair last week with a
rebuilt film transport mechanism. It's working like a charm but that
dang software drives me crazy. Change one little thing - like the size
of the frame you are scanning - and the rest of the settings go back to
their defaults... Arg...
