and Bob Sullivan mentioned that he might prefer if the gull were somewhere other than in front of the spray from the wave. In fact I had such a shot, but the spray is not as large and just doesn't look as good. OTOH, I really like the gull where it is in today's post. So here you have Part II: http://knarfinthecity.blogspot.com/2011/11/south-winds-off-lake-part-ii.html which also has ducks in it and they seem perilously close to the rocks. Which is better? Nice spray in colour or well-placed gull and perilous ducks in monochrome? Decisions, decisions... ;-) Thanks for looking.
