On my way across the Bay Bridge this evening, I stopped by Treasure
Island to get a few shots of Bliss Dance, and as it turns out I ran into
the night photography meetup. I don't know how much longer the statue
will be there, but it's definitely worth a visit. I wish I had planned
this when I left the house, I would have brought some of my kit that I
left at home. If I had a bit more gumption, I'd be returning about now
to get some shots of the statue with both the moon and SF behind her,
rather than having to choose one or the other.

Here's a shot from tonight:

Maybe not the best photographically, but I think it does the best at
presenting the feel of the artwork.

I like that - nicely framed with the bridge and city in the background.

Thank you. It's a bit of a challenge framing it so lights from the back aren't in the picture. If I were going back to photograph, I'd probably bring a couple of light stands and foam core gobos to block the lights for a shot or two.

Cheers

If you click on the map to the right, it'll show you where it is.
Basically go through the gates of the navy base, and keep going straight
for a bit, it'll be the first forty foot tall woman on your right.

Here are my shots of the statue from Burning man a year ago
