The 645D is a real battery hog on long exposures. Four half-hour exposures is the most I can hope to get before it runs out of juice. But the results are pretty good. The K-5 is a small miracle for nighttime photography. I frequently ended up using its 12800 ISO to determine exposure before cranking the ISO down and go into Bulb mode. Worked well for estimating exposure for the 645D as well. Saved me a LOT of trial and error. :-)
