To Mark Roberts:
Maybe two hours is as expected, I don't know. What I do know is that
adding noise reduction brings you down to two exposures per battery,
in ambient temperatures around 10° C. That doesn't look good for the
winter season, and feels a bit unpractical. Makes me consider looking
for some kind of external power source. The K-5 performs better. The
fewer pixels makes a difference, I suppose. Btw, I've noticed that the
645D seems to draw less power in "B" mode when using the IR remote
than when using a cabled remote. That surprised me...

None of the half-hour exposures made it to the blog. The last shot is
the longest, at ~15 minutes. The first and the second last are ~8 min.
The others are more comfortably short.

To Bob S.:
Yes, I suppose the asphalt on the bridge gets a glazing every now and
then. It will be sanded when that happens.
