i saw a strong exhibit of her photos today at the Denver Public Library (in the exhibit notes, but not mentioned on the site above, is that all the photography was done with a Pentax Spotmatic)
i really enjoyed her photos, as well as the story in the video at the site above, but i don't have much objective distance due to multiple resonances: my next door neighbor was an early member of Libre; my father lived in a school bus for a couple of years and my sister was born there; and Peter Orlovsky and Gregory Corso are heroes of mine
