it's got some interesting points, but it bothers me enough that i won't finish it right off; i see this as a guy who feels guilty about his work and so spends a fair amount of his ebook pumping himself up about technique as a way of avoiding his own guilt
when i noted he took a class in Beirut i was slightly excited since i just saw the semi-documentary _I Want to See_ with Catherine Deneuve; a fairly unorthodox film which has some connection to street photography
