I'd learned that kit lens is really good, shame I'd avoided it for years, searching for other substitutes of it. 18-55 is light, compact and sharp, and better late than never... As for model, I kinda felt for duotones. Converted from within ufraw duotones by color channel, empasizing on red, reducing green and blue channel weight. It also reduced visible wrinkles or spots on a skin.
