Bipin, I don't know that I could get thru a 3 week trip without downloading to my laptop. But I do shorter trips with your methodology, shoot and keep the originals on SD cards. I download to my laptop, sometimes at the end of day, sometimes not at all. When home again, I download the images to the back-up computer. Regards, Bob S.
