Not a clue, I downloaded a full trial version of an earlier trial version of Silkypix, and it was strange, at the time I was using Raw Shooter, and the user interface was frankly strange. I've heard it described as clunky, but so is Photoshop when you first start using it.

Maybe Ricoh got a deal.

Thanks - I don't use it often but it's a lot more useful than it used to
be and good to have on hand.

I notice on the download site that users of the Pentax Q get access to a
full version of Silkypix (not the current version, though) rather than
the  Digital Camera Utility which is only 'powered by Silkypix'.

I wonder what the rationale behind that is.
