Exactly! You read my mind. In addition, when I fly and try to minimize the weight and volume of the equipment to carry, I'd prefer to have fewer batteries with higher capacity. Currently, when I go to an event where I am doing considerable amount of flash photography, I have a set of 2500 mAh non-hybrids, and a set of "regular" hybrid eneloops as spares and as a backup for emergencies. I usually freshly charge (top off) them all, right before the travel. When I take the flash but don't expect much of use, I take only one set. It would be convenient to have that set consisting of high-capacity and low-self-discharge batteries. > > I'm definitely going to give them a try for my next set of batteries. > That's what I am considering. Please, let me know if you buy them early then I would get to do that. And they are available on Amazon for about $20 for a set of 4: http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-Capacity-Pre-Charged-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B0058GZWXQ/ Or from a bunch of other sellers on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Sanyo+XX+Battery+Powered+by+eneloop%2C+2500mAh&x=0&y=0 Igor -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
