Thanks, I'll consider myself educated on that point. I just tried it
and it's not quite what I'd think of "live view" but as long as I can
see the screen in the bright sun it would be very useful.
The down side is that I'm going to have to remember where the option
is as you use the DOF preview lever to get your preview... and I use
DOF preview all the time when using the optical viewfinder.
I only remembered it because I once set it accidentally somehow.
Checked DOF and had the mirror lock up blocking the viewfinder. Had to
dig out the manual to look up how to turn it off.
