Yeah, there's something in that, John. I generally try to melt away
into the background and get candids at family functions, but that's
really hard when I'm expected to participate, like at my own birthday.
:-) I can get away with it at my nieces' joint birthday though, and
I've managed to grab some reasonably objective images. But it's a
toughie and I often just punt and mumble some lame excuse like it's
too dark for my Pentax and I should have bought a Canikon.
