Thanks for the additional feedback on this shot.
I had done quite a bit of noise reduction already, giving Topaz
Denoise a try. I was sort of desensitized to the noise after looking
at it for so long and seeing a vast improvement. Here's an additional
image after tweaking noise reduction again with Denoise.

Doesn't improve it much to my eye. You lose what little detail there was
in the previous version. The moon becomes a soft fuzzy ball that looks
completely out of focus.
And it introduced some kind of rainbow ring artifact into the center of
the image.
