I couldn't find an A 70-210/4 reasonably priced (Henry's $370 CDN),
so I
bought a Tamron SP 70-210/3.5-4. At $170 CDN including tax, I hope
it's a
good deal.
I don't know how it compares with the Pentax optically, but if looks
are an
indication (it has the same finish as my SP 90/2.5) then it could be
one
fine lens.
It's a solidly built lens. Focusing and zooming rings (two touch) are
smooth
and play free. The glass looks clear.

I'm going to shoot the balance of the Provia 400, from last
Saturday's Yonge
Street walk. I hope it doesn't dissapoint me.

Jeff.
