More than I realized when I started working on it: You have to know
pretty much everything about every part of Photoshop. Most working
professionals - even many most of would consider "power users" -  only
use a small segment of Photoshop's capabilities. I don't know anyone
whose work takes advantage of *everything* that Photoshop can do.

I don't have one on masks. Yet. Maybe soon...

I can help you with gradients. After teaching Illustrator (which has
much more powerful/complex gradient capabilities) for a few semesters
I've got a good handle on gradients.
