Almost any camera can get a decent photograph under the right conditions.  The 
range of conditions my K-5 can get a decent photo in is much, much wider than 
even my K20, which was still a lot wider than my old 35mm film cameras.

It is interesting that phone cameras are getting to the point that they can get 
decent photos at all  The camera on my first generation moto droid is almost OK 
in bright sunlight, other than that, it's good for documentation. I..e taking 
pictures of price tags in stores and the like.
