It's the same height/thickness as an MX. I'm v happy. Some things nobody tells you. The optical viewfinder has no information in it other than the view. I hate focus confirmation beeps so that will be immediately turned off. So how to know focus has locked with no sound and not using the rear LCD? Easy! There's a multiple function light right next to the viewfinder eyepiece - and crucially fully visible by the eye even when jammed up against the viewfinder without glasses on. It glows solid green with focus lock. Of course there's no way of knowing what it might have focussed *on* (without examining rear LCD) but that remains to be seen.
