I don't think it really puts any pressure on Pentax. Pentax doesn't sell to the folks buying the Canons and Nikons (pros with large Canon and Nikon lens collections). Even the Sigma, with the new sensor, hasn't generated much excitement in this market. If/when Pentax releases a DSLR it will be an expensive toy for hobbiests.
