I've been thinking about getting one of those internet phones that allow
you to hook up a regular land line phone to a box that hooks to the home
Ethernet network I have attached to my cable modem. I'm wondering if
anyone has experience.
Specific questions:
Anyone use the Ooma Telo?
I just noticed it a while ago when I was at Costco, and that's what got
me thinking about it again.
I'm wondering if I can get my old, OLD BellSouth land-line number?
It says you can transfer your current number, but that particular number
was shut off in 2002. If the number has not been reassigned to another
customer can I select that number? I did a reverse look-up just now and
it came up with my name and address for the old number?
Anyone recommend another provider and/or equipment vendor?
