It *IS* a bad thing when Firefox gets into that "time out - taking too long to respond" crap.

The URL is LOCKED OUT. You can't load it from a bookmark. You can't reload it as your home page. You can't load it by clicking the reload button. You can't load it by going back to PDML to click the link again & try to open another new tab. Firefox will not load that URL again other than clicking "try again" and praying. And for the most part, better than 90% of the time, "try again" will not work; will NEVER work.

Unless you shut the whole damn thing down and start over. I have to "ipconfig /renew", shut down the computer, unplug the modem, wait 45 seconds before powering it up again & restarting the computer just to follow a link in a PDML message.

I could understand if we had buried utilities, but these are overhead cable lines.
