Hi All,
I'm planning on travelling to the UK later this year and am in the
midst of working out what camera gear to take with me, and how to carry it
around. I don't intend taking too much with me, at this stage it looks like
an MX with 30, 40 and 50/1.4 with a 28-200 to cover the longer focal lengths
(I don't have any k-mount primes between 55 and 500) and my Russian 6x9
folder to cover MF, with a hand held lightmeter (maybe a spotmeter) and
possibly a monopod.
What I want to do is attach the cameras to my belt in some fashion, so that
I'm not always reaching into a back pack to grab them and I'm not carrying a
bag that screams "steal me" the way that most photo bags do. The idea is to
have them just to hand, but covered by a shirt (worn over the belt) or a
jacket most of the time.
I've bought a couple of small padded cases that are usually used for point
'n' shoot cameras, and both the MX (with 40) and the folder will fit snugly,
but they still seem a little bulky. Does anyone know of any sort of clip
arrangement so that the camera can be attached directly to my belt?
Does anyone else carry their cameras this way?
