LOL!!

Yes, the similarity to a postcard is both the best and worst attribute
of this image.  I like it because I think it captures the feeling of
the old steamers plying the Big Muddy, but I freely admit the image
lacks originality and artistic merit.

For better or worse, this seems to be what is making it to the PPG
these days.  This image was accepted almost immediately, while more
unusual views of the same subject were given short shrift.
