Then I realized that Marcus was lit by very red light, which is pretty close to IR. 
  One aspect of shooting IR is that it often hides skin blemishes.  I wonder if I 
could just put some red gels on studio lights, do portraits with that lighting, 
convert to B&W and hide zits and other blemishes that are a bit redder than the 
surrounding skin.
